you can get an assortment of switches from Dick Smiths - 20c/50c each. Mount it externally. I know someone who ran the wires from the chip to a DB9 plug on the back of the wii. He then wired up another DB9 plug with the wiikey attached. This way it makes it fully removable and also allows different chips to be plugged in.

only backups work on wiikey - there needs to be a firmware upgrade for the original to work - it is because this is the first dual layer game that has been released.
