hey so i bought a wii yesterday with super mario galaxy and i was wondering whats the best component cable to buy the nintendo 1 or 3rd party ones, does it make a difference?

I haven't seen a comparison vid for galaxy but Gamespot has a great pictorial composite/component comparison of Zelda TP. That will give you an idea of the sort of difference to expect.

If you have a decent display, component cables are a must!

yea but thats a controller. and my friend has 3rd party cables
that he bought off of dealextreme.com
thier stuff is hella cheap.

and i also got a GC controller, but mine was from nintendo.
it has a lot of glitches(but it was wireless)

I have original Nintendo component cables for the Wii and 3rd party component cables for my PS3, the 3rd party one is a universal set that will work on Wii/PS3/360. After a quick plug swap I couldn't tell the difference between the two on a LCD screen.

I dunno why, but it makes FIFA '08 look worse to me. Maybe it's because it's been a while since i played it before lol. It is much brighter, and colours are more pronounced, but the edges of the players look jagged, almost boxy.

Yeah Ive ordered a set of component cables for my Wii from Dealextreme and it cost around $6 posted. Cant complain at that price.
