I think putting an aim to the kudos will just cause more spam. For example there's a medal you really want that is 4,000 kudos. How much spam would that create? LOTS!

Also I think there is a use already really, say if you are minus kudos (ie -100 kudos for example) then people really aren't going to take much attention to what you are saying. Sure there's more things I could think of, just not now. Oh and also, I don't think it matters on the plus side of kudos, I will still read and take note of someone who has just the 1 kudos. I just tend to get a bit iffy of what people are saying when they are on the minus side.

Agreed. If people were responsible and used the system properly, it might be viable, but there are alot of people frequenting the site that would abuse the system and spam the forum.

Everyone does different things, some people just post in the forums while others submit news and reviews which gets you more kudos which can then distort the exact number

Probably because of all the admins threads. That's how you gained 9,000 kudos quickly over the the past few weeks.

HAHA, pwnt. Too true, it's like a more advanced post counts.

I may have 11,000+ kudos, does that mean i've made 11K kudos worth of QUALITY additions to the site, no it doesn't (not that i haven't).

Post counts are never a great system, and giving prizes away will increase the spam.
