at least halo 3 interested you enough to complete it, which is more than I can say about MP3. Only took MP3 30 minutes to bore me to sleep, so much so I had to go out and buy another game just so I could play my wii...RE4, and damn was it so much better.

Funny thing is, if halo 3 was on wii, it would be the best shooter by a long shot, even with last generation graphics, whereas on 360 it's average at best. that's telling you something about the discrepancy in quality between the two consoles.

I can agree to that totally. Before with the Cube my mother would call it an XBox and I was like, don't call it that! Now that I've gotten out of my fanboyism and would rather have all 3 of the top consoles I don't care at all. Each console has it's own advantages.

both me and foetoid own 360/wii, we're both interested in getting a ps3 some time in the future. That said, some of his posts are either full of sony fanboyism, nintendo fanboyism, or halo 3 bashing. And I don't like to see him bashing halo 3 when it in actuality is not that bad a game, just massively, overwhelming overhyped. If you forget it's halo 3, it's an o.k. game, not the worst game ever created in the history of videogames, which if you read foetoid's posts about it, you'd think it was.

I've finished Halo 3 and Prime 3, with Prime being far better IMO. You can't play a game for half an hour and judge it. Heck if you did that to DMC4 you'd barely get past the first cutscene. 'Zomg Prime 3 Bored Me To Tears', if you're dumb enough to play it for less than 5 hours, then it's yor fault . Tales of Symphonia is the best RPG ever, but its a very standard RPG for the first 10 hours, then the following 35 hours are gold. Give a game a chance.

I can't remember the exact amount of time I played MP3, I got a bit past the 2nd boss (where you are falling down a tunnel). And By that stage I had seen enough of the game to make up my mind about it - not for me. Don't have a cry about it because I thought MP3 was boring, unfun, and graphically looked like MP2.5

You must have been looking at something else, or running the game on a crap tv via composite. Playing both MP2 and MP3 on the same 52" screen showed a huge jump in quality (more than the Halo 1 to Halo 2 jump) when comparing MP2 on GC to Mp3 on Wii in 480p. Graphically it was a leap, control-wise it's better than dual-analog (tho i dont think you got far enough to see that) and it actually gets very interesting pretty much half an hour after fighting Ridley (which is who you fought in the tunnel). If thats as far as you got, you didn't even give the game half a chance and you definatly got no more than half-an-hour into it. Its such a shame how people can play such quality titles for such a tiny amount of time and not give it a chance aftet that. It'd be like someone playing Zelda up till the horse gets pinched, or playing Final Fantasy X up to the point where he gets taken near the start. It's a damn shame. You only thought MP3 was "boring, unfun, and graphically looked like MP2.5" because you didn't get far enough. Half an hour is not even close to enough in a 35 hour game
