So the Wii USB ports provide power but you can't communicate with them? I think probably they are not enabled in the firmware. I read somewhere that when theopera browser is released that there will be a firmware upgrade to allow keyboards etc. (could have been heresay though)

Imagine that listening to music through your Wii, that is one thing I would be interested in, then the next logical step is ripping songs off the Mp3 player onto SD card if only!

Try a jump/ thumb drive take out any sd memory and you can use the usb as memory
