It's quite possible that it won't work, the US version. Still waiting for definative evidence first before jumping to conclusions.

So how long do you reckon it would take to get a fix? And to get the fix, would I just have to go to where i chipped my Wii? And this chip plays with originals right?

Currently the original works on a virgin wii and some other chip enabled wiis (cyclowiz, DC2). The original currently does not work on a wii with a wiikey installed. This is because the DVD9 support does not work properly. Once the patch is released then it will be fine. Wiikey should have enabled a mode to make the chip a dead chip by the press of a button originally, but I suppose a patch will do.

I just want an NTSC-U import to work on a PAL console. That is my main thing.
