yeah buy her chocolates and she'l get back with you... until all the chocolates are gone, then you will have to go through the same thing again

Why are you letting someone else do your talking? Are you too bloody sheepish to demand a straight answer?

It is not difficult to say, "I am concerned about the state of our relationship, and would like to know exactly what is wrong so that we can fix it."

Pushing her for an answer will not make things worse than if you left her alone — if you do nothing, then nothing will improve.
