Basically this is what happened 2 weeks ago, I went to my local K-Mart to buy an album. Whilst I was waiting to be served, I saw a Wii play bundle (the game & the remote) on sale for 7 bucks at the bargain bin. The problem was the Wii remote wasn't working properly. Tried to fix it, but nothing worked. So sent it in to Nintendo for a repair under warranty. Lo & behold, I got a package from Ninty on Monday with a brand new Wii Remote!

I'm planning to sell the Wii play game to recuperate my $7, but I'm sure I can get more than that. Either way, I can't believe my luck.

Ty mywiisites. That was when I tried to fix it, but I'm pretty sure it's an internal problem to begin with. Dm now though, I've got a brand spanking new replacement Wiimote.

I suppose you are right phatbass. But the fact is that they mentioned in the label that it was defective. I think by coming back to the store & claiming it should've have been broken when I bought it, I would be lying. Whereas taking advantage of the warranty program implemented is more of a 'know your rights' kinda thing.
