I agree suntail it is difficult if your partner isn't into gaming. My partner hated me spending money on consoles and games until I bought the Wii she loves it. She has even started playing the N64.
As for being a grandpa you guys aren't close like Guyver I make the cut off and then some

Same story here though, partner will play wii but not pc or play station, which i think is a very common occurrence
