I agree suntail it is difficult if your partner isn't into gaming. My partner hated me spending money on consoles and games until I bought the Wii she loves it. She has even started playing the N64.
As for being a grandpa you guys aren't close like Guyver I make the cut off and then some

When i was their age i used to go clubbing and to the casino heaps and now that I'm 22 now just gotten over that scene(for a while)

but i don't mind going to a party whenever i can..
