Wii Software \ whats the worst thing that ever happened to your wii?

I had a power surge in my house, and the Wii was dead after that. I tried eveything but it just wouldn't turned on. 3 days later I unplugged everything and ready to take it to the shop, and I decided to give it a last try on my way out. I plugged the power cable in and it just turned on, and it's been working fine since.

The worst thing that happened to my Wii is when I was playing Redsteel it would keep crashing when I was kicking a$$ then after that it would give me an error code, did an update and formated the memory and haven't had a problem since.

Modchips (i.e, wiikey) have a stealth mode which means it can't be detected. So until they can detect it, no firmware upgrade can kill a chip. Plus, they can't do that in Australia either. Because mod-chips are legal here to bypass region encoding.
