Yes, to the average person the difference between Bose sound products and Sony sound products is nil. The difference comes down to the ears of audiophiles. Remember that with a few tweaks, the first iteration of the first PlayStation could play music CDs with quality that rivalled very expensive high-fidelity systems (or so the audiophiles say!).
