Nice theory. I suppose all great teams suck balls also?
Geelong must suck a lot of balls since they dominate the AFL.
Newcastle suck plenty of balls winning the last A-League title.

If your only counter argument is they grapple tackle, then please don't bother.
We can win with grapple tackles, and we can easily win without them.
