When the telemarketer explains that they cannot give out their HOME number, you say "I guess you don't want anyone bothering you at home, right?" Everyone has a right to try & earn a crust BUT, when Im at home I believe they have no right to disturb me. Im at home I have the right to say who can & can not watse what precious time I have. If you ring MY number I have the right to be as rude as I like, maybe then they wont bother me but instead I got a silent number, its just easier.

Before when I was working nights they would always ring at like 11am and wake me up, this was annoying. I've also had them call at 8pm, annoying again. The ones that don't let you go or cut you off are also annoying. I am fine with them up until then, that's when I would say ok bye and hang up.

One time this girl called up and I said I wasn't interested, she went "whatever" quite rudely and hung up. I ended up calling the company back and complained, the guy found out who did my call and called me back saying sorry and that she was new. He was nice. That was Timberline or whatever it is.

Another time from Primus, they were trying to sell me a different home phone line plan thing and again I said I wasn't interested and I was shocked that he would then say... "So you're not interested in saving money then?". I paused for a moment to get my thoughts together and told him that time is money, stop wasting it please and then hung up.

It didn't make me think I was going to save money, not the way he said it anyway. Maybe there's good ones that can say it better. I already gave him the reason I didn't want to go with them two times before this so it was just annoying.

I tend to agree actually, I was thinking this earlier when reading that post. Even if it's true, they probably have another 20 calls going at the same time anyway so in a way, pointless.

Still, can amuse yourself anyway and make you feel wonderous so why not
