It really does do everything you want it to out of the box. And most programs people need either have a mac version, a mac alternative or work in parallels.

I have Vmware server for Linux, on which I am running a virtual XP machine, for things that are absolutely windblows neccessary but I don't use it that often.
Linux can do everything that windows does (except run the damn wiikey dumptools!), just has a different way of doing it.

I may make the upgrade soon to Fedora Core 9 when it comes out, looks nice.
