It's not Nintendos fault they sell 1.6-1.8 MILLION consoles per MONTH!. They only have limited production facilities and havent had to mass produce consoles like this before EVER. Cut them some slack and order one.

And its not our fault that we should wait. They have been selling the console for more than 2 YEARS! Don't you think they would have learned how much they should make by now?
I think that gaetano is absolutely correct. They are just making limited production so it 'seems' like the console is in REALLY high demand

oh and here i thought the wii was released in December 7th 2006, i didnt realise it was already after december 7 2008? where have i been all those months? thanks for clearing that up for my iaculch

Knowing how much they need to make and having the capacity to actually be able to make that amount are 2 very different things.

Ahh gaetano, kmart does have them on sale saturday, I was right, just missed it in the catalogue, so to put them on sale they would have to have stock, try a local store, surely you would have at least one near you somewhere
