As for car accidents, well unless you have something which basically turns into a giant balloon on impact then you are going to get hurt when you collide with other objects at moderate to high speeds.

I just drive with my eyes closed so I don't feel nervous about all those other bad drivers out there

My boyfriend and I were driving once and it was flooding, we went to pull over and the car just slid out and T-boned another ladies car. We were going about 40kph..our car had minor front damage but this ladies car was a total write off..It just crumpled.

I'm not saying I want some magical car thats going to let me walk away from a high speed accident with no scratches, I just want one that has been tested and has a good safety rating.
