At this point I'd like to point out that everyone is entitled to their view.
Having said that I'd like to put forward my reasons for hating this crap.

1. The first movie was stand alone. It was great and made without thought for a sequel.

2. The second movie built on the premise that remnants of the T-101 would cause the same thing to happen again. (It was a paradox. The future causing the future.)

3. The third movie showed that regardless of what action is taken causality was never a factor (this I just can't agree with). The creation of Skynet couldn't be stopped, it never could.

Having said that it's hard to pick on the TV series for a lack of continuity. The movies hardly set a rigid reasoning. The problem I have is that the series doesn't set out to make sense. It sets out to apply a TV formular to a movie formular. It's not about a great story anymore

I'm sorry. I just see it as a great, original idea being bastardised for short term gain. That means long term damage to anything good attatched to the afore mentioned idea.

In twelve months can you see this crap getting a second season or getting axed?

I think you all know which I'd prefer.

I disagree LostDjinn, I quite like the story of the tv show. That being the same as the movies just in a tv length format. The story to me still remains great but I'm biased because I love that sort of stuff.

Besides.. If they axe this, we'll only get some crappy reality show to replace it.

In reality I feel that the creation of Skynet could never be stopped, only changed. AI standards today are getting better and better. One day we will get to the point where machines could have programmed feelings that behave just like our own. Are we not, after all, biological machines? What is to stop one of them getting scarred or angry and causing a Terminator or Matrix type event to happen?

Ever since I can remember (like 2 - 3) robots have freaked me out, they just do...
Terminator made it worse haha but I do understand how they work and stuff so I know a "mechanical revolution" wont be coming anytime soon.

Hahahaha. The only thing machines will take over anytime soon is the work force and even then you need humans to maintain and oversee them.

I say we call Kevin-little the work place champion to turn them into soup cans or some thing stupid like that. (Sorry Kev. I understand the laws weren't good, but all you did by turning the left-over AWA info into toilet paper was to insult the previuous govenment. Is there such a term?

No not really. Just sick of us wiping each other out all the time. Seeing all the horrible things that go on all over the place. Wars, Gangs, Murder, Greed, Bombings, etc..

I just feel that as a race, we are a violent greedy bunch and need a good smack. (I'm talking overall here not by individuals)

Maybe wiping out is a bit harsh.. Perhaps just a good culling.
