1st is Melbourne to Sydney, following a GPS set to shortest distance not shortest time. The result a ball breaking 16hr drive through the real country in my old daewoo lanos. Featuring 100km/h speed limit dirt roads around cliff's & service stations who still fill up your car for you and clean your windows for free. My wife doesnt have her license so it was all on my. 1 food stop. Oh and a fine for doing 35k over the speed limit when i had, had enough driving and just wanted to get home.

2nd is sydney to hervey bay. Over 2 days. 10 hours day 1 8 hours day 2. With a drugged cat who couldnt pee by itself as it couldnt stand up. lol.

3rd is a metro drive. Sydney's northern beaches to Nth Sydney. Distance 27km. Avg speed about 10km/h took 2.5 hours in 40 deg heat. No aircon.

As i said before, SA to QlD was longest drive, though when your folks (dad in my case) live in the forces, you get used to day long drives =.= (getting to the motel is always the most rewarding, specially when it has a pool , even better when your travel expenses are paid for by the air force, kekeke)
