I went from Melbourne to Lakes Entrance (about 3 hours east of Melbourne) to pick up a dog to deliver to Sydney, and then back to Lakes Entrance.

Drive time was probably close to 17 hours but with breaks it took a bit over 24 hours...

Had a dinosaur after that one! (a dinosaur is a MEGA-SORE-ASS)

Though we would regularly (be it adelaide or QLD at the time) go to my mums folks for christmas which was a 2 day drive (though every 2nd year), now we only live a 2hr drive away from them (plus a macdonalds half way )

I honestly dont know how i managed those days without a gameboy lol, i guess a book of findawords helped a bit
