News \ Sonic returning to Wii

Zero Gravity will incorporate the use of gravity and special moves that are different from it's originating brother.

Scott A. Steinberg, vice president of marketing at SEGA, had this to say about the title:

"Speed and agility is what built the Sonic franchise. Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity offers long-time Sonic fans, and newcomers alike, the adrenaline-pumping gameplay and moves that made the blue hedgehog famous, while adding a plethora of completely new elements to the Sonic world. Packed with new and innovative features, Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity delivers a rush that gamers can't resist."

Release Date: February 08 (USA)

Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity is the title of the Sonic Riders sequel for Wii and PlayStation 2, as officially confirmed by Play Magazine. Nothing major has been confirmed so far except for the Babylon Rogues returning, the plot involving Sonic hearing of a legend regarding an odd artifact known as the Shooting Star that can control gravity itself, and Jet the Hawk battling Sonic, as well as a cast of old & new characters such as Tails, Knuckles, Storm, and Wave, for this new kind of power. Because of this, Dr. Eggman will possibly appear in to try to get his hands on the Shooting Star. Takashi Yuda (the producer of the original Sonic Riders) will also return to his producer post.

Single player, Multiplayer the game will be.
