Majesco increases its support for the Wii with Furu Furu Park Announced for the U.S. later this year. Furu Furu Park will consist of 30 spin-off titles of well known arcade games from years gone by. The Wii remote will be used in a variety of intuitive ways in this collection of "retro classics and quirky, stylized mini-games" further tapping the casual gamer market. As Ken Gold, vice president of Marketing for Majesco said; "Furu Furu Park's inventive use of the Wii Remote will have you spinning, shaking, and rotating as you try to master classic arcade titles and unique new game play scenarios only possible on Nintendo's Wii system. Whether you're delivering sushi orders, punching asteroids or cracking a safe, all of the Park games are easy to pick up and play, and above all else, great casual fun." Some of the featured games include - Arcanoid, Pinch Hitter, Safe Cracker, Sonic Blastman 20XX, Super Karate and the famed Bubble Bobble, which should be enough to satisfy any retro arcade gamers’ craving. Furu Furu Park will offer players to go head to head in three multiplayer modes: Free Battle, Panel Attack and Love Challenge. (Players will have to compete to win female affection) A release date or cost for Furu Furu Park has not been announced at this time.
