Logitech have introduced their new Wireless Guitar and Drum Controllers for Wii, licensed by Activision Publishing Inc. Both controllers feature high-quality materials like you would expect to find in real ones and they're designed with all the latest features of Guitar Hero games, including Guitar Hero 5 and the much anticipated Band Hero in mind. Logitech Wireless Guitar Controller for Wii features a maple neck, rosewood fingerboard and metal frets. It also has a dampening design on the strum bar and fret buttons to minimise any audio distraction. Logitech Wireless Drum Controller for Wii features three completely adjustable drum pads plus two cymbal pads each of which can be adjusted to suit your reach. To avoid accidental rim shots Logitech have incorporated a recessed-rim design. The kick pedal has a stainless steel surface with an adjustable spring for more responsive drumming. Both controllers are expected to be available in the US and Europe in October, hopefully Australia will follow soon after. The expected retail price for the Guitar Controller is $199.99 (US) and the Drum Controller $299.99 (US)
