The Australian Classification Board has been notorious in the past for leaking information on (then) unannounced video games. Today was no exception to this practice. The ACB has rated the Club Nintendo exclusive title Game and Watch Collection for the Nintendo DS and it has been classified under a G rating. The appearance of the Game and Watch collection classification reveals more than just the mere existence of the title as it is an exclusive item for the Club Nintendo service. With the games rating it could be interpreted that Club Nintendo's release may be just around the corner. In other countries the exclusive item is only available for purchase through the Club and it seems the same method will be undertaken here. Australia has been expecting the service to launch in the country for close to a full year now but with this development we may see light at the end of the tunnel. Nintendo Australia has promised news on the Club's localisation in the country numerous times including last week but nothing had developed further. Nintendo Australia is renowned for butchering release dates and this service seems to be no exception. Once again I would recommend to keep your hopes as low as possible on this recent development. It is better to be pleasantly surprised than frustratingly disappointed.
