I think movie games have pretty decent potential these days.
Lets see... take any movie these days with superpower or supernatural stuff. Theres CG. CG modelling.
The models are already made. All they gotta do is trim down the polygons a bit and you already have your game characters completed. All the sound bytes can be sampled from the resources used for the movie.
Just pay the actors a lil more and you even have ingame acting from the real stars.
Thats a fair bit of the work done. Then take a fairly popular game engine, stick in some movie footage for level cut scenes and done! you've just churned out another mediocre movie game.
Oh i said potential didnt I? If only they spent a bit more time on it instead of trying to get the release dates to tie in closely with the movie. And whats with releasing the game *before* the movie? That one baffles me.
Now to make this a tad bit more relevant to KungFu Panda.
