News \ Rock Band confirmed but missing DLC

Rock Band, a game to offer music from the world’s biggest bands allows players the ability to team up with their friends as a virtual band utilising drum, bass/lead guitar and microphone peripherals. It also offers online connectivity for both the Xbox 360 and PS3. Sadly, while confirmed for the Wii it has also been confirmed that the Wii will have no DLC (downloadable content). This is due soley to the fact that the Wii lacks any serious internal storage (a HDD) according to Harmonix CEO Alex Rigopulos.

Unfortunately this seems to be a trend with Nintendo Wii games.

I'm sure there are a lot of people that don't fill up their Wii's memory with VC games.
All it's doing really, is making Wii owners feel jipped once again, or steering multi-console owners away from buying the Wii version.
