News \ Rock Band For Wii, EA says "maybe"

There maybe a chance that we'll see Rock Band on the Wii? but for now, EA are saying that they are not wanting to release it on the Wii just yet. Last year, Harmonix wanted to see Rock Band on "every important platform," ( Is he saying that the Wii is not important). But they also said the Wii in particular,but despite the Wii being a hit all around the world, they have said no. EA's Bryce Baer told GamePro "That there's nothing in the cards at this time". At least, nothing's been announced.

Seriosly the only fun thing on rock band was the singing and the drums. If they make a second one yeah maybe but only if the guitar doesn't suck as bad.
Guitar Hero ||| was smart for putting on the Wii in the first place.

Wii has the largest installed base of the current-gen platforms. It just seems like a poor business decision on their part not to offer a Wii version of the game. That would be like choosing not to offer it for the PS2, despite the fact that the vast majority of the 120+ million PS2 owners out there are still gaming on their PS2s. Then again, nobody ever accused the folks of EA of being overly brilliant or competent.
