"October 12, 2007 - Nintendo's marketing genius borderline gaming gimmick, Wii Fit, will come included with its new Wii Balance Board when it debuts in Japan on December 1, but those who are a little...larger, say larger than 136 kilograms, will have to look elsewhere for their fitness fix.

That's the weight limit of the device, Nintendo has said via some documentation, and perhaps explains producer Shigeru Miyamoto's comment from earlier in the year. He said at the time, "We're going to launch in Japan first and get feedback and decide if we need to make something that's American-sized. We may need to super-size!" Although he added, "Ideally we'd like to release one size Balance Board worldwide."

"In another interesting revelation, Nintendo has also made known via its Japanese Wii Fit website that the game will make use of a standalone Channel, which appears to track the fitness progression of all participants.

The game will launch in Japan at 8800 Yen (which equates to AU$83) and it'll make its move to Western regions sometime into early 2008."

We'll Just have to see if America Releases a Super-Sized version for some people
