Hey guys. I'm Heller and I'm a new admin over at mybluray so I thought it was about time I came here and did a blog. The last two weeks have been hectic on multiple fronts. First up I grabbed myself a copy of Tim Burton's stunning Sweeney Todd on Bluray from Sanity for $40. Now yes this is a musical, yes it has singing and dancing, but it also has a great tale of revenge, greed, power struggles and murder. I have to say it's on of Tim Burton's finest moments, and Johnny Depp pulls off yet another flawless performance in my books. The sound is stunning and visually it's one of the best looking Blurays out at the moment. Review is coming soon! So all was good and I was eagerly awaiting my copy of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots for my PS3. Some of you know I make short films and right now I'm involved in a stunt crew called GFY. Well the GFY crew thought it would be a great idea to send two of them in nothing but their underwear through an automatic car wash so I was down there filming it. Crazy idea, left one of them badly cutup and scarred but it was worth it for the glorious footage. If you are keen to see it you can check it out on youtube! Then finally it arrived, MGS4. I'm not going to bore you with details, spoil anything, just simply say that I would buy a PS3 JUST FOR THIS GAME! IT IS THE BEST GAME I HAVE PLAYED ON THE PS3. Get it now! So that's about it for me. It's 80's month at my palce, so my room mate and I are watching one 80's movie every night until the 1st of July. So far we have seen such classics as Ferris Bueller, Commando, Aliens, The Breakfast Club but so far my favourite has been Prince's Purple Rain. Following the story of frontman The Kid in a band called Revolution and featuring the kings Morris Day and the Time you already know it's going to be a great movie. I laughed so hard, and then when we realised it wasn't a comedy but was a drama we laughed even harder. Definately recommend it for anyone out there looking for a cheesy 80's movie Until Next time Take it easy The Hellerphant
