Wii Software \ Burnt Games

I am going to Bali at the end of the week and I used to go to these asian countries and buy heaps of burnt games for my PSX, PS2 and I would get someone to install the mod chip to play them ect... and I was wondering if this can be done on wii, and if so, how ?
(Don't bother posting stuff like "Oh no, your ripping of game developers! ect)

Do the burnt wii games work fine and all for the most part?
Also I just realised there really aren't enough good wii games to justify it, I mean 85% of wii games are absolute crap.

PAL ones do, not sure bout all NTSC which is the games from other regions, the wiikey can play only a number of NTSC games, but i wouldn't reccomend it unless you know wat ur doing, as it could brick ur console if u update from the discs. the games u buy in bali are prob gonna be NSTC so some will work but some don't, u should check b4 u buy.
