oh that was a funny story...
For me plugging it into the composite video and setting it to CVBS (just changing the input channel within the program) and it's all good. Yes video quality is lower through the tuner card than the TV, but for the sake of having free reign without hearing "stop taking over the tv" it's worth the sacrifice..plus you adjust pretty quick and soon won't notice much difference.
I didn't get sound for a few hours...was driving me nuts and i'm a network admin so I should fix it in an instant.
Go through all the options all fine, volume all fine, speakers fine...ok why was the PS2 fine the other day and now the Wii won't do sound.
Plug it into the TV, yep got sound not a problem with the Wii...
note to self and anyone else out there, if you unplug the audio cable on the tv tuner card it needs to be plugged back into the motherboard!!!
The shame of that mistake was high..and I had to steal the audio cable from the cd rom haha.
