well, with my wii remotes, they run out like all the time! Half of my remotes have run out now! i personally dislike the battery life in the remotes and i think that a better option is to charge your wii remote...but i don't have any devices to do that so i guess i'm stuck with batteries for a while...

I've changed batteries twice in two remotes since Christmas time, but the first round were cheap batteries. Gonna get some rechargeables to make it easier.

I'm currently using a 3rd party Battery Packs & Charger Stand. Since I'm so paranoid, I usually charge it after every play. Keep in mind the battery level does diminish pretty quickly even without any play.

Mine sit comfortably next to my Wii in a Joytech Recharging Station so they are always 100% charged and i always know exactly where they are. It's the best docking station for sure.

Joytech ones are pretty expensive. If you compare it to some of the third party ones you'll find out that you're only paying for the brand.

It all depends on how much you play wii....the first lot i got that came with the console jsut ran out and that was like a month....

i guess i don't have time to play all that much...like 1 hr a day...sigh...

But i think rechargeables are good

Fairly often. They've been good, lately. I'm using rechargeable batteries (Energiser ones). You would have to be crazy using regular batteries in the Wiimote. Damn bluetooth is power hungry

I just use good rechargables. They last about 2 weeks.

I'd be careful getting third party docking stations. The one I got connects to the Wii usb port but it only charges the remotes when the console is on. Not exactly keen to leave the console on all the time so I don't use it.
