www.play-asia.com has Japanese GCN controllers which I'm told (by them) will work on an AU Gamegube/Wii but I'm yet to confirm this myself. The memory cards are a different thing though, I've seen people say not even UK mem cards work in the Wii so I think they're in the same bag as the games...

All the JBs I've been in lately (around Melbourne and Geelong) still have them appear to range from $27-28.

If you don't like online shopping, try jb hifi. One of my local ones have a whole pile of them. Might be worth a shot.

Nah, you aren't going to the wrong JB Hi-fi. Both JB's on the coast here are still selling Gamecube games for high premium prices. Ebay is your best bet for cheap, brand new games. Otherwise places like Cashconverters.
