Wii Hardware \ S-Video or RGB cables available in OZ?

Hi all.

Just stumbled on your site. I am what could be described as a Newbie to games, as the last console I bought was a CD32. Most people wouldn't know what that was..

Anyhow, my TV doesn't have component inputs. I am looking to update the TV one day (when 1080p becomes affordable), but for now I want to get the best picture from my Wii.

I see in the UK they have SCART (RGB) and S-video cables available, but I can't find anyone who can help me here in OZ.

Does anyone know if these are, or will, be available here?

As for the s-video or scart cables, i'm not sure that there are any available for the wii as yet...

Thankyou. Well done on the SX-1 Pezza. I never got one of those, but I do have the FMV module, allowing me to watch movies on it.
Nintendo really hit the nail on the head by doing things different with the Wii. They aimed at a different audience, and they ahve succeeded. I, and my now Wii owning mates, are proof.

Scart is a European standard, its like composite is for us. Although Scart is superior to composite, I dont think it can display a progressive scan, neither will S-video. I'd wait until you buy a TV which can display progressive scan (480p), buying a 1080P screen is really not necessary, for the wii anyway.
