Ok another techy question... im in the market for a DVD recorder, and amongst all the other stuff, I hear ramblings that most recorders around the sub $800 range can't record Austar??

Is that true?

Is Austar output in digital or analogue?

Also $800 is a bit much, i know you can get a fairly decent model in between $300-400.
