Today December 7 the wii turns 1 year old (in Australia) and what a years its been! The console continues to smash sales records and is set to have another good christmas considering the recent releases of top class first party games such as Metroid Prime 3 and Super Mario Galaxy.

So looking back what are everybody's thoughts on the wii after a year?

Ahhh a year tomorrow that I nearly had to belt some little kid in Target, ripped them off with their pre order vouchers, and also claimed that sports pack for free when pre orders weren't entitled.. Then had to come back to work and have thebox sitting next to me all day!!

yeah i agree 1 year and only 2 online games ,both soccer ,i didnt expect online games straight away but i didnt expect to get only 2 in a year ,and to me i hate soccer games so its even worse lol

I agree. I'm so much happier with my Wii at the moment, compared to a couple of months after the launch, where there were no games that I liked.
