first off, have you updated your wii console to 3.1E? Usually this fixes the problem and allows the games you brickedblocked to work after applying the most recent update. If that doesn't work, I suggest burning the game without 'brickblocking' the game. Since the games you mentioned are PAL games anyway and you have a PAL console to go with it, there shouldn't be a problem (Do not follow this advise if you are planning on running a NTSC version of a game on a PAL console, this will brick your wii). If one of the disc say it wants to update, just let it run and it usually fixes it. Also make sure you are running the latest wiikey firmware to allow better game compatibility.
I had a similar problem with High School Musical after I brickedblocked it (the whole black screen after the start button is pressed). After I burnt a copy without brickblocking it worked.
