Wii Hardware \ Can I send message if the guy has turned off his wii?

I would like to disable the stand by mode. That means if I turn off my wii, my wii will stop working just like plug off the power cord. If my mii frds send message during this time, Can I still receive it after I turn on my wii? Thanks very much

By the way it appears the Wii collects emails I would think you can. It appears that Nintendo may be hosting pop email or similar for each Wii ID. The Wii then connects at a predefined time and downloads emails. Also to look in a much easier term What would happen if the power went off in your street. Nintendo cant expect power up all the time so the message must be hosted by nintendo until your device connects. That can also be said for your internet connection.

Yeah same would go for them too I would think. Especially if they are roaming. Im sure the sending console would expect a response from the recieving response to ensure the data got there.

The sending console would exprect response from the receiving response? If I turned off my wiis, how can I response?

yes, if u wanna to add mii mates, u will send a pm to them. but after that u can not check it and send pm to ur mates again.
