And, there's also "Semi-bricking". This is basically a technical term when you have a modchip for the Wii, and you end up with duplicate channels (News and Weather), but the Wii still functions normally.

Well, I own a Wiikey modchip, and I can tell you that it can happen with certain games that contain updates. This is only for games from overseas (NTSC - America and Japan). As yet, there aren't any fixes for the duplicate channels, just preventions.

Sorry had to say it! hahaha! Nah easiest way is to only play games from your region (so in our case PAL. Oh hang on your in Geelong.... Thats a whole nother world away.. who knows what region (planet) your from!!! hehehe. JOKING!!!!)
