Hi everyone!

Update: As of today we are taking a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY TO COPY AND PASTING WHOLE NEWS ARTICLES.
This is causing a lot of problems and if nothing else is just plain copyright infringement. While we do ask that members take the time to submit well written articles, copy and pasting is not a way of doing this.
Anyone found copying and pasting whole articles will have their post deleted (a large kudos penalty) with a message from the admin team. The news article will also be submitted to the news team for follow up.

Can all members who wish to post news, either via a direct news-add or contribution, please read our brand new guide at mywii.com.au/

We have set out some guidelines that will assist all of us and we hope that through this guide everyone can get a better understanding of what it takes to submit news-worthy and professional news articles.

Please keep all discussion on this topic in this thread.

Just to fill you in, basically what we're aiming to do is get a consistent quality news feed happening, so that anyone who jumps on the site, be it long time members or a first time visitor, can instantly and easily get the goss.
These news posting guide lines are going to apply right across the network, so keep them in mind where ever you are

Something that has come back to me a couple of times has been the self credit note in the guide.
The only place the no self credit thing applies is the main news feed. Everywhere else, guides, reviews and so on is fine.
