Wii Hardware \ Noisy drive

Hi everyone,
was hoping to get some advice, I have a wii thats about 3 months old and just recently the disc drive has started to make a bit of loud buzzing noise when its running a disc. I don't remember it being this loud before, its playing games and everything fine so I don't know if I was going crazy and that its always been that loud and normal or if there is a problem, has this happened to anyone else and if so is it worth getting repaired or checked out (its annoying more than anything but bearable)

also just wanted to add that its not modded and I have never done a firmware update or anything(never hooked up to the internet at all)

I tried the vertical/ horizontal thing with no changes and none of the discs are noticeably dirty and all run fine except for the noise

Well, it's still under one year warranty if you haven't modded your Wii. Just give Nintendo a call and ask them what to do. Most likely they will ask you to send the Wii back to them and they might fix it or sent you a replacement Wii.

do that but as you are in melb it would be quicker to take it out there to the head office shop
