TDK's should be fine but I use Verbatim.
Also try burning the DVD slower, data corruption is the usual culprit.

I also had a problem with my card reader once that made it fail (the dump was corrupt).

Burning them as slow as possible is important! Nothing faster than 4x. In my case, my desktop (pioneer dvd drive) can handle 4x for Wii games, but my LG laptop will only work at 2x for Wii games. 4x doesn't seem to work for Wii games from my laptop.

Sorry this is long, but this is from my long experience.

hahaha its funny how it says don't use ritek dvd and dont use nero, don't burn dvd's @ x4 speed, don't do this don't do that... lol most of the don't use .....i have been using for the past 1 year and up to this moment i am yet to get a bad dvd burned.....hmmmmmm must i be doing some kind of miracle lmao

This guy probably knows what he's talking about.... i just wouldn't listen to all of his points in his thread as it for me all of his don'ts have always worked for me

That's funny, I've burnt many thousands of DVD's in my time, yet I always fine 4x to be the most reliable. I tried a movie at both 4x and 16x, and sure enough, the 16x was choppy as all hell. Same with Wii games. Oh, maybe i'm wrong and that's the way dvd are meant to be played, all choppy.

I got out of the habit of using nero years ago. Its such a resource hungry program. Not to mention not free. I still have the latest version but almost never use it. Alcohol ****s on the others for copying and burning iso's but for wii like i said imgburn. For all else i generally use my toshiba's software which has worked well for ages.
