Hi guys I thought an interesting thread would be telling your stories/memories of the day you got your Wii.

I was so excited! The build up was huge for me, and I wasn't let down;

I remember as soon as 5 o'clock came around, I left work as fast as I could, went to pick up my girlfriend, then shot to Eb's which is about 50kms from where I live. Lucky Thursday nights are late night shopping!They had my Wii waiting with all my accesories. I pre-ordered:

Nunchuck
Classic Controller

I tried to play all the games as much as possible before I was too tired. Didn't last very long.

hahaha, nah mate, it's wrapped.

Nothing exciting about when I got my Wii. I pre-ordered it, picked it up, then went home and played it. Ahhh, it was like an early christmas.

sounds like torture.

i remeber it was the last thing i opened on christmas day i mean all they presentes before it were like gap sweat shirts and baggy jeans so i new i was getting something big i was thinking a zune or a wii and when my parents brought the wii i felt like the N64 kids ya you know how im talking about... well as i was saying some how i kept my cool and we had a golf tournamet in our living room.
its really is mine but everyone in my family plays it.

During the day, I finally received my 360 back from repair. I spent 15minutes testing to make sure it worked fine, then it was back to play the Wii.

I know, my whole family has had a go of it! It's really funny to watch. My sister (she's 30ish) calls it a Playstation, she doesn't get that there's a difference

But she does pretty good at Wii-sports, and laughs her head off at WarioWare. There's just something utterly hilarious about watching someone playing that doesn't have a clue what they are doing but are having the time of their lives anyway. I'm trying to convince my other sister to buy one for her kids, and I know I'll succeed. Even my mum loves it, and now she's got a ds! See, I'm trying to show my family the light....
