Through an exploit in the Flash Player(in the web browser) Wii hackers may have found a way to could allow the homebrew scene that's rife on PSP to kick off on Nintendo's hardware. This could lead to, among other things, a way of running emulators on the Wii, spelling the death of the virtual console.

If any real hacker was to find an exploit in the Wii its very unlikely they would release this information straight away. Normally they hold onto this info until they can actually use it to run something...even if its just a "Hello World" statement.

Quite possibly they have only found an exploit to crash the opera browser and thats all. Nothing that can be used to run homebrew....

But hey fingers crossed. I mean we dont need emulators running as the Wii key already enables that but hey bring on some fancy homebrew..just imagine controlling your house through a "Home" Channel.... The possibilities are endless.
