Wii Hardware \ which way does wii look best?

I noticed a big difference in sharpness even on the main menu with component cables. Tony Hawk Downhill Jam benefits greatly from it, even Mario 64 looks better. I hate it when i go visit my folks in Bowen and i can't use the component on thier TV, looks like rubbish.
