Id go to EB with whatever pre-order deal you can find. They should price match it. I managed to get the Myer deal with a free game out of them. The vouchers suck anyway. At least this way you can trade in anything you dont want to cut the cost.

Most of the vouchers are $50 off games. Problem was Target only had three games - Zelda, Redsteel, & Cars (Well Target reservoir anyway!). Oh yeah and that sports pack as advertised in their catalogue. Be careful those vouchers are meant to be off recommended retail - not the current prices. I got away with a bit of bullcrap and instead of reading the value of the voucher she just took the discount off. Eg. Zelda voucher says $20 of RRP - So therefore it should have $79.95. But because thats the current price I screwed her around and got it for $59.95..

Goodluck getting one. These WILL sell out. If you dont have one now better hurry up.

So yeah, I got the Action pack from Toys R Us, and a free game of my choice. I'm not sure, but I think thats about as good as anyone in the whole country could have got unless they are mates with the manager of a shop

I'm laughing. I pre-ordered with EB Centrepoint as they've always given me good service, plus they promised to price match Myer / JB / whoever. I got let in at 8.55am this morning and gave them the JB Hifi catalogue so they wouldn't go back on their word to price match. Then they told me that there was no stock of GT Series Pro in Australia yet, so no one was getting a free game anywhere but they'd price match everything else. I said i spoke to a guy from Myer in Pitt St Sydney yesterday who told me that Myer had an exclusive deal where they would be supplied with enough stock of GT Series Pro / or 4x4 Truck for pre-orders on release day, and that no more stock would be available for general release on release day. EB rang Myer to see if they were really giving out GT series pro to people who had pre-ordered. When Myer said yes the EB guy said he'd have me a copy by the end of the day. I got a call at 11am saying he had my free copy of GT and i could pick it up, which i did immediately. So this is what i got today from EB...

Wii console: $399 (plus free bag)
Wii play bundle: $64
Wii Nunchuck: $24
Zelda: $79 (i tried to get it for $64 - they phoned Myer but their $15 off title voucher isn't valid for Zelda)
GT Series Pro - free
Total: $566.95

I've just played most of Wii sport and about to throw Zelda in. The legend is about to continue!!!!!!!.....

P.S - oh, and for all those EB haters, i hope it's not centrepoint

When I preordered, there was mention of a "bouns deal" to be advised at a later date. I found out what the bonus was this morning when I picked it up. Which was the remote and wii play package. So I was most happy with this.

So I got the console + wii sports + remote&wii play for $388 (well a little less with my discount) and got them to price match the monkey ball kmart deal.
