US people are using rechargeables with no probs, just that they don't last as long. Make sure you get the super duper powerful rechargeables.

If you use non-rechargable batteries, I recommend lithium batteries. The Energizer AA ones are good

Thats what i am using. There is nuthin in the manual that says ya cant. Onli the batteries previously mentioned, it says not to use.
