The guys at Play magazine got to play this and here are some of their impressions:

# Wii Remote controls work better than the old dual-thumbstick ones.
# It's got beam stacking, ala Super Metroid.
# The endless Metroid back-tracking makes (apparently) more sense.
# It's got larger environments, better textures and BLOOM LIGHTING.
# Play believe, in their own opinion, that it could well be the "biggest revolution in FPS gaming since Halo".

Red Steel wasn't bad, the Wii is geared for FPS, I mean I'd prefer to game FPS's on the wii-mote instead of using analog sticks but I have no affiliation anyway...

Because you do too much puzzle-solving and it was way too many adventure elements, hunters was an FPS, otherwise it's like the old, classic games translated to a first-person-adventure....

Judging by the screenshots and previous releases of metroid prime, I can safely say that is first person, in which you go around shooting. It's more of an FPS/Adventure, but it's stil an FPS regardless.

its been talked about as a 1st person RPG with FPS elements.
