I just read this article about the Aussie Navy in the gulf.

It turns out that Iran tried to take some Aussie Sailors before they successfully took some British Sailors and failed.

When I read stories like this I'm proud to be an Aussie.

Made me think. Whats the best thing about Australia/Australian's?

like I am always ringing up game stores asking for prices and I rung the same guy up three times for three different games he never got angry or anything (because by the noise in the background I think it was pretty busy!!!)

This was only the weekly cycle. It rises once every week. Only when its a big story the media says the oil companies were forced to, which is not true. The reason the price drops daily is simply that this is the day where the oil companies discount the price to the retail outlets. The reason the price rises (apart from the market influences) is because the oil companies reduce the subsidy. Guess what! the price drops all week and rises on the same day. Every week. In NZ the price is stable, rarely changes because the oil companies do not provide this discount.

Oh and back onto the subject.

Oh yes, the women.

The petrol thing was different. Here, we have it cheap on Tuesdays. The price shot up to around $1.30 by Thursday. The announcement about consulting the ACCC was made that night, then Friday it had dropped to $1.19, which is totally abnormal here. I think this happened a couple of weeks ago and it also happened the same way a couple of months ago when they announced the same thing.
