I was down at my EB this afternoon to pay up, so I could just pick up tomorrow... but the guy behind the counter said I would have to bring the Target catalogue back when I picked it all up to secure the price-match pricing.
I'm a bit concerned that they'll turn around tomorrow and tell me that Target has run out, therefore I won't get a price-match. I doubt Target will be out of stock by tomorrow, but then again, maybe they will be.
Ok, we're only talking $41 worth of discounts (ie a Wii console -$6, Wii Play bundle -$15, Zelda -$20).. but $45 is a free nunchuck, or half a game at JB/Target/Myer.
I've been sticking with EB, because EB did me a favour 2 years ago when I got hold of a spare WoW:CE, after Harvey Norman shafted me (and 19 other people who pre-ordered it there - HN O'Connor Store, in WA BTW).... but if EB give me grief tomorrow, well, I'll be disappointed to say the least. I'll probably just buy the Wii at $396, and leave the rest to acquire later.
What's the worst I could pay, full retail anyway? But as Kirbsta says, at least I'de have my hands on a Wii before the end of this year, and for that I should be happy... because EB do do the right thing, and do make sure those who pre-order with them, get what they asked for. The price is another matter.
